Our Team

Nicole Friedberg
Co-Founder/Executive
she/her/hers
Nicole is an actor, writer, and producer who believes that telling stories - whether fictional or true - is how humans can affect change and start important conversations.
Nicole holds an MFA in Screen Acting from Oklahoma City University, for which she was part of the program’s inaugural LA/London cohort, and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
Nicole has had the honor of publishing pieces in Hey Alma, Pittsburgh Magazine, Nursing Times, and more. She has also had the pleasure of performing in stage productions including Suddenly Last Summer, She Kills Monsters and short films such as "Comorbid" (which she also wrote), "Finish Line", and "Higher Education."
Outside of her work with Pink Tax Productions, Nicole has also directed and produced a handful of educational shorts for young audiences.
Whether using stories to reflect on the state of the current world or examining the way the world could be, Nicole’s mission as a storyteller is to provide people with escapes and new ways to look at the world, as well as to foster connections that make them feel seen and less alone.
Art is one of the biggest influences on the world and her life’s purpose is to be an artist who wields that power to make the world a better place.
